NHS England South West (Peninsula) supervises all postgraduate medical specialist training in the Devon and Cornwall region for Dermatology.
Information about the Specialty
The hospitals involved in this four year course are Truro , Taunton, Torbay and Royal Devon & Exeter.
During the rotation, sub-specialty skills are acquired in dermatological surgery (Exeter and Truro), contact dermatology (Truro) Paediatric dermatology (Exeter) and photo-dermatology (Torbay). A dermatology research facility is available in Truro. However ‘out of programme experience’ is encouraged if trainees wish to conduct research elsewhere.
Annual Assessment Information
