NHS England, South West (Peninsula) supervises all postgraduate medical specialist training in the Devon and Cornwall region for Immunology.

Information about the Specialty

This programme aims to provide a very high quality of Immunology training. The training programme is 5 years.

Trainees are based at Derriford for the main part of the program; however attachments at Great Ormond Street hospital in London and Southmead Hospital in Bristol are essential for training. There is no fixed date for rotations.

Annual Assessment Information

Trainees undertaking Higher Specialist Training are required to have an annual assessment (ARCP). Details of these assessments can be found within the assessment pages.
